After several years of pursuing France international Mbappe, the World Cup winner is reported to have green-lighted a switch to Madrid once he reaches the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

It may well be that he is joined in Madrid by Bayern Munich defender Davies, with claiming that another deal is being lined up there. The flying Canadian left-back is said to have given his word to Real that he will join them at some stage in the near future.

Los Blancos have convinced Davies not to extend his current contract in Germany, which runs until 2025, meaning that Bayern may have to cash in at the next opportunity. Real are willing to wait a further 12 months and take the 23-year-old when he hits free agency if Bundesliga giants at the Allianz Arena refuse to lower their asking price in the next transfer window.
