Goal recently reported that Chelsea’s Victor Moses is considering forcing through a move away from Stamford Bridge in January in order to seek regular football elsewhere.
The Nigeria international first joined the Blues in 2012, but after a difficult first season at the club he endured a series of loan spells around the Premier League. However, under Antonio Conte, the 27-year-old was converted into a wing-back and played a key role in Chelsea’s Premier League and FA Cup triumphs under the Italian.
Since Maurizio Sarri took charge at Stamford Bridge this summer, though, and reverted to a back four formation, Moses has been starved of game time. At this stage in his career, he needs to be playing regularly and must therefore seek pastures new.

With the Saints struggling for goals and lacking dynamism and creativity going forward, Mark Hughes ought to pounce for Moses whilst he is unsettled and likely to be available for a cut price fee.
From Moses’ perspective, a switch to St Mary’s Stadium makes sense as he would become a key first team regular for the south coast club.
Saints fans certainly seem keen on the winger’s potential arrival, with 90% voting in favour of Hughes launching a bid for his signature in January. See the full results below.
