After the international shambles of midweek it is a relief to get back to the domestic scene and what promises to be an action packed weekend of football. We have the North London derby tomorrow lunchtime as Tottenham look to finally bring an end to their poor away record against the top three; Chelsea face a tough trip to St Andrews, while Avram Grant looks ahead to a daunting trip to Anfield in order to kick start the Hammers’ season.
In the papers this morning it is much centred around the clash at the Emirates tomorrow with Sagna pleading for calm from supporters, Van Persie’s regret at not seeing van der Vaart at Arsenal, while Gareth Bale aims to Gun them down.
