Bellingham reacted angrily on full-time at the City Ground, with Dom Smith of the reporting that he kicked a drinks cooler and let his displeasure known to a linesman following the final whistle.

Bellingham was frustrated after seeing an equalising goal ruled out by VAR for handball. The ball did strike Levi Colwill's arm in the build-up but the Three Lions complained that the action was not deliberate.

Kane himself was angry with the decision, claiming that "if you know the rules it's not handball". The defeat was manager Thomas Tuchel's first since taking over as England boss earlier this year.
